WELCOME TO MAN DOWN

supporting men's mental
health in cornwall

What we're all about

Man Down is a Cornwall based Non Profit. We run  safe talking and listening spaces to help meet the current emotional and mental health needs of men who struggle to cope with the pressures facing them in our modern society.

  Important 2021 announcement

We are pleased to be able to start re-opening many of our fortnightly meetings by observing the Covid-19 safety guidance for each of our locations. Please see our calendar on this website for updates on the locations that are running again - dates and locations can be seen there.

Thank you all for your support, patience and kindness.

You are not alone.

Let’s keep talking about it!

SUPPORT

OUR GROUPS

We offer a very informal, safe and relaxed environment for men of all ages  18+ who are struggling with any kind of mental health issues. Our sessions are designed to be as inclusive as possible with no judgement, only support and understanding from people who might be able to offer you some help.

We currently have thirteen locations open, and plan to have the whole of Cornwall covered by next year.

THE MAN DOWN JOURNEY

Group Activities

We not only organise fortnightly meet ups, we also host events and challenges that raise the awareness of the group and bring men together to help each other work through their issues and concerns, we have weekend retreats and each group arrange their own social events.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

"It doesn’t matter where you think you are on the mental well-being spectrum, these guys are awesome support. Bringing all perfectly normal blokes together to talk about their experiences should be exactly that - NORMAL "
